   - In a **digital reference check**, an automated email is sent to the provided reference to complete the questionnaire.  
   - In a **phone reference check**, our team of experts calls the specified references and asks a series of open-ended questions to get the detailed information to make an informed hiring decision.  
2. Your candidate will be asked to provide 1-3 references for our team to interview (via digital or phone reference).  
3. Your detailed report gets created. The responses are available in your Certn dashboard.
