We liaise directly with the institution for vetted, verified information.

What do I need to run a credential verification?
All that’s needed is the candidate’s name and email or phone number to start the verification. Candidates will be asked to supply credential details as part of their background check. We’ll get consent before we start!
What’s the credential verification process like for the candidate?
The process for the candidate is simple. Here’s how it works:
- Press “Send” to initiate the request for background screening via an email to the candidate. This is done from our platform or your ATS.
- The candidate receives a link via email and inputs their information to complete the background check. This is all done online.
- While the verification is in progress, other background checks may be run at the same time.
That’s it! Once the information is ready, we’ll update the status in your Certn dashboard.
